Bojana Novakovic is a Serbian-Australian actress. She was born on 12 November 1981 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia (now Serbia), to Dragica and Zoran Novakovic. She has an older sister, Ivana. Novakovic’s family moved to Australia in 1988, when she was six years old. They settled in Perth, Western Australia. Novakovic attended St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls and graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Film in 2003.

Novakovic began her acting career in 2004, with a role in the Australian film Somersault. She has since appeared in numerous films and television series, including the Australian films Balibo (2009) and Animal Kingdom (2010), the American films Edge of Darkness (2010) and Devil (2010), and the British television series Strike Back (2012). Novakovic’s performance in the latter earned her a nomination for the AACTA Award for Best Lead Actress in a Television Drama.

Novakovic has also appeared onstage, most notably in the play Blackbird (2007) at the Belvoir Street Theatre in Sydney. In 2014, she starred in the play The Maids, also at the Belvoir Street Theatre.

Novakovic is married to actor Luke Hemsworth. They have two sons together: Sasha (born 2014) and Tristan (born 2016).

As of 2021, Novakovic’s net worth is estimated to be $3 million.
