Born in Havana, Cuba, on March 9, 1974, Aylín Mújica was the only child of Cuban parents who divorced when she was just two years old. Her mother later remarried and had two more children, Aylín’s half-siblings. When Aylín was eight years old, her family moved to Mexico City in search of a better life.

Aylín Mújica began her career as a model, appearing in various commercials and fashion shows. In 1996, she made her acting debut in the Mexican telenovela “Tres Mujeres” (Three Women). She has since appeared in numerous telenovelas and films, including “La Fuerza del Destino” (The Power of Destiny), “Corazón Salvaje” (Wild Heart) and “Pasión Morena” (Morena Passion).

In addition to her acting career, Aylín Mújica has also worked as a television host, hosting the Mexican version of the reality show “The Biggest Loser” from 2006 to 2007.

Aylín Mújica has been married twice. Her first marriage was to Mexican actor Mauricio Aspe from 2002 to 2006. The couple has one son together, Mauricio Aspe Jr., born in 2003. Her second marriage is to Cuban-American businessman Jorge Reynoso, with whom she has two daughters: Sofia Reynoso, born in 2009, and Oria Reynoso, born in 2012.
