Stefania Berton (born October 13, 1987) is an Italian former competitive figure skater. With partner Ondřej Hotárek, she is the 2014 Olympic bronze medalist, a two-time World silver medalist (2012, 2014), and the 2013 European champion.

Berton was born in Trento, Italy. She began skating at age four. As a child, she was coached by Barbara Fusar-Poli and Roberto Pelizzola in Milan.

Berton teamed up with Ondřej Hotárek in the summer of 2006. They made their international debut at the 2006 Skate America and placed 8th. The following season, they won silver at the 2007 World Junior Championships.

In the 2007–2008 season, Berton/Hotárek won their first Grand Prix medal, a bronze at the 2007 Skate America. They placed 4th at the 2008 European Championships and 11th at the 2008 World Championships.

The 2008–2009 season was Berton/Hotárek’s first season on the Grand Prix series. They won silver at the 2008 Skate America and bronze at the 2008 Cup of Russia. They placed 4th at the 2009 European Championships and 10th at the 2009 World Championships.

In the 2009–2010 season, Berton/Hotárek won silver at the 2009 Cup of Russia and bronze at the 2009 NHK Trophy. They placed 5th at the 2010 European Championships and 9th at the 2010 World Championships.

In the 2010–2011 season, Berton/Hotárek won silver at the 2010 Cup of China and bronze at the 2010 NHK Trophy. They placed 4th at the 2011 European Championships and 11th at the 2011 World Championships.

In the 2011–2012 season, Berton/Hotárek won silver at the 2011 Skate America and bronze at the 2011 Cup of China. They placed 4th at the 2012 European Championships and won silver at the 2012 World Championships.

In the 2012–2013 season, Berton/Hotárek won gold at the 2012 NHK Trophy and silver at the 2013 European Championships. They won bronze at the 2013 World Championships.

In the 2013–2014 season, Berton/Hotárek won silver at the 2013 Skate America and gold at the 2013 Cup of China. They placed 4th at the 2014 European Championships and won bronze at the 2014 Winter Olympics. They also won silver at the 2014 World Championships.

Berton retired from competitive skating in 2014. She has since worked as a skating coach in Milan.

Berton is married to former Italian skater Massimo Scali. They have two sons: Leonardo (born 2016) and Matteo (born 2018).
