Roger Smith (born September 25, 1932) is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Jeff Spencer in the television series 77 Sunset Strip.

Smith was born in South Gate, California, the son of Ethel May (née Meyers) and Robert Smith. His parents were both of German descent. He has a sister, Virginia. He attended high school in Long Beach, California.
Smith served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After his discharge, he began his acting career in 1955.
Smith’s first major role was in the television series 77 Sunset Strip, which ran from 1958 to 1964. He played the role of Jeff Spencer, a private detective.
In 1964, Smith appeared in the film A House Is Not a Home. He also appeared in the films The Young Sinner (1965), The Young Lovers (1966), and The Young Runaways (1968).
In the 1970s, Smith appeared in the television series The Love Boat and Fantasy Island. He also appeared in the films The New Centurions (1972), The New Centurions II (1973), and The New Centurions III (1974).
In the 1980s, Smith appeared in the television series Matt Houston and Hotel. He also appeared in the films The New Centurions IV (1981), The New Centurions V (1982), and The New Centurions VI (1983).
In the 1990s, Smith appeared in the television series Diagnosis: Murder and Burke’s Law. He also appeared in the films The New Centurions VII (1991), The New Centurions VIII (1992), and The New Centurions IX (1993).
Smith has been married three times. His first wife was actress Victoria Shaw. They were married from 1957 to 1963. His second wife was actress Ann-Margret. They were married from 1967 to 1973. His third wife is actress Pam Dawber. They have been married since 1987.
Smith has three children: daughters Tricia Leigh Fisher and Jordan Parker Smith, and son Dylan Smith.
