Rick Hoffman is an American actor, best known for his role as Louis Litt on the USA Network legal drama Suits.
Early Life
Rick Hoffman was born in New York City, the son of Gail, a homemaker, and Stanley Hoffman, a businessman. He has a sister, Jill, and a brother, Michael. Hoffman was raised in Roslyn Heights, New York, on Long Island. He graduated from The Wheatley School in Old Westbury, New York, in 1987.
Career
Hoffman began his acting career in 1992 with a guest appearance on the television series Law & Order. He has since appeared in numerous film and television roles. His film credits include The Devil’s Advocate (1997), Rush Hour 2 (2001), and Along Came Polly (2004). His television credits include the soap opera One Life to Live (1992–1993), the sitcoms Spin City (1996–2002) and Jake in Progress (2005), and the drama series Samantha Who? (2007–2009).
In 2011, Hoffman was cast as Louis Litt on the USA Network legal drama Suits. He has appeared in all nine seasons of the series.
In 2019, Hoffman starred in the short-lived CBS comedy series Fam.
Personal Life
Hoffman is divorced from his first wife, Lisa Ann Russell. He has two children with Russell: a daughter, Ella Olivia, and a son, Jaden Christopher. Hoffman married his second wife, Stacy Snyder, in 2010. They have a daughter together, Josie Kate.
