Ramón Hernández (born May 20, 1979) is a Dominican former professional baseball catcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds, Baltimore Orioles, Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox, and Tampa Bay Rays.
Hernández was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He was signed by the Cleveland Indians as an international free agent in July 1996. He made his MLB debut with the Indians in September 1998.
Hernández was traded to the Reds in April 2002. He was traded to the Orioles in July 2006. He was traded to the Mariners in February 2009. He was traded to the Red Sox in July 2010. He was traded to the Rays in December 2010. He became a free agent after the 2011 season.
