Peter Robbins is an American actor, voice artist, and writer. He is best known for his role as the voice of Charlie Brown in the Peanuts animated television specials from 1965 to 1969.

Robbins was born on September 4, 1956, in New York City, New York. His parents were both actors. Robbins has two older sisters. He was educated at the High School of Performing Arts and the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre.

Robbins made his acting debut in the Off-Broadway play The Fantasticks in 1964. He made his television debut in an episode of The Defenders in 1965. The following year, he began voicing Charlie Brown in the Peanuts animated television specials. He also appeared in several episodes of the television series The Ghost & Mrs. Muir from 1968 to 1970.

In 1970, Robbins made his film debut in the drama The Sterile Cuckoo. He also appeared in the films Catch-22 (1970), Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971), and The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane (1976).

From 1984 to 1985, Robbins voiced the character of Woody Woodpecker in the animated television series The New Woody Woodpecker Show. He also voiced the character of Simon Bar Sinister in the animated series Super Friends from 1985 to 1986.

In recent years, Robbins has appeared in the films Camp Nowhere (1994), The Brady Bunch Movie (1995), and A Very Brady Sequel (1996). He has also guest-starred in episodes of the television series Touched by an Angel (1998) and 7th Heaven (1999).

Robbins has been married three times. His first marriage was to actress Margot Kidder from 1983 to 1984. His second marriage was to actress Nancy McKeon from 1987 to 1988. His third marriage is to actress Paige Taylor Evans, with whom he has two children.

Robbins has a net worth of $5 million.
