1I can go to a movie theater and watch a movie I was in with an audience... but with television, the opportunity to meet the fans at Comic Con or any other situation, it's a chance to enter that circle; it's that sharing.
2I think people do sci-fi a huge disservice by lumping it as some sort of bizarre subculture genre when I think everybody's lives are impacted by sci-fi at some point.
3I've been lucky enough to work with some of the best TV directors there are, and I've learned from how they had to handle when things don't go quite according to plan.
4It's a fascinating job, to come in and be the most interesting person in an episode. Whoever the guest star is, that's the job - to maintain the interest and the focus for that 42 minutes or whatever, and it should be a huge relief to those people that are the leads in the shows.
5The idea of future or past, either way, is a core part of entertainment. It's something we've always loved as humans. Its part of our psyche, I think.
6It's the imagination that is involved in sci-fi, and fantasy is what draws me to it. Stories, everything.
7It seems to realize itself to be some of the most exciting TV and films that are made. Sci-fi just has that ability.
8When something is written for you or handed to you, sometimes there's a very interesting dance as you discover what it is that's required.
9When you're shooting a movie that's not necessarily a huge budget, you have to think about what you can leave out and still make it interesting.

1Played the same character, at a younger age, as his father William Morgan Sheppard in episodes of Doctor Who (2005), N.C.I.S. (Broken Bird, 2009), and the movie Mysterious Island (2012).
2He has been sober since 1990.
3Lives in Los Angeles.
4He is the only actor to appear in ''Supernatural'' and ''Doctor Who (2005)''.
5Started acting at the age of 27.
6Was a successful session Musician and toured with many bands from the age of 15.
7Like his father William Morgan Sheppard, he has made guest appearances on Star Trek: Voyager (1995), Charmed (1998) and Doctor Who (2005).
8His television work includes guest-staring and doing recurring roles on such shows as The The X-Files (1993), Las Vegas (2003), CSI: NY (2004), Medium (2005), Battlestar Galactica (2004), Leverage (2008), Supernatural (2005), and others.
9The tattoos seen in Silk Stalkings (1991) and Sliders (1995) are real. Sheppard has at least four (both upper arms, left chest, and shoulder blade), all of dragons.
10Sons Max and William and daughter Isabella Rose.
11Has worked with actor Adam Baldwin in 5 projects: Lover's Knot (1995), Farewell, My Love (2000), Firefly (2002), Evil Eyes (2004), and Chuck (2007).
12Son of William Morgan Sheppard.
