Keith Buckley is an American musician, singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the metalcore band Every Time I Die. He has also played in the hardcore punk bands The Damned Things and The Red Chord.
Buckley was born in Buffalo, New York, on July 18, 1980. He has two older sisters. His father was a musician, and his mother was a schoolteacher. Buckley was raised Catholic. He attended the University at Buffalo, where he studied English and creative writing.
Buckley began his musical career in the hardcore punk band The Damned Things, which he formed with Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed in 2001. The band released one EP and one album before disbanding in 2009. Buckley then joined the metalcore band Every Time I Die in 2010. With Every Time I Die, Buckley has released eight studio albums, the most recent being Low Teens (2016).
In addition to his work with Every Time I Die, Buckley has also been a member of the hardcore punk band The Red Chord since 2012. He has appeared on two of the band’s albums, including their most recent, Feeding Frenzy (2014).
Buckley is married to Lindsay Buckley. They have two sons together, Jack and Miles.
