Jessica Hecht is an American actress. She was born on July 23, 1965, in Princeton, New Jersey, to a family of Jewish descent. Her father, Harold Hecht, was a civil engineer, and her mother, Shirley Hecht, was a schoolteacher. Jessica has two older sisters, Amy and Susan. She was raised in a middle-class neighborhood in New Jersey and attended public schools.

Jessica began her acting career in regional theater productions. She made her Broadway debut in the play “A View from the Bridge” in 1992. She has also appeared in the Broadway productions of “The Heiress”, “The Crucible”, and “The Seagull”. Jessica’s film credits include “The Truman Show”, “Saving Private Ryan”, “Hitch”, and “The Forgotten”. She has also appeared in the television series “Seinfeld”, “Friends”, “ER”, and “Breaking Bad”.
