Graham Nash is a singer-songwriter and musician best known for his work with the bands The Hollies and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
Born on February 2, 1942, in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, Nash grew up in a musical family. His father, William, was a bandleader and pianist, and his mother, Mary (nee Crook), was a singer. Nash began playing the piano at an early age and later took up the guitar. He attended Oriel High School in Blackpool and then studied art at the London College of Printing.
Nash’s musical career began in 1961 as a member of The Hollies, a British pop group that achieved success with hits such as “Bus Stop” and “Stop, Stop, Stop.” Nash wrote or co-wrote several of The Hollies’ songs, including “Carrie Anne” and “King Midas in Reverse.” He left the group in 1968 to pursue a solo career.
In 1969, Nash teamed up with fellow musicians David Crosby and Stephen Stills to form the folk rock group Crosby, Stills & Nash. The trio released their self-titled debut album that year, which featured the hit single “Marrakesh Express.” They were later joined by Neil Young to form Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. The supergroup released two albums, “Deja Vu” (1970) and “Four Way Street” (1971), before disbanding in 1974.
Nash has released several solo albums over the years, including “Songs for Beginners” (1971), “Wild Tales” (1974), and “This Path Tonight” (2016). He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of both The Hollies and Crosby, Stills & Nash.
Nash has been married three times. His first marriage was to Rosemary Butler from 1963 to 1968. He was married to Susan Sennett from 1985 to 2006. He has been married to Amy Grantham since 2016. Nash has four children: Matthew, James, Anna, and Eve.
Graham Nash has an estimated net worth of $60 million. He has earned his fortune as a singer-songwriter and musician.

1 | [on "Don't Give Up" by Peter Gabriel] When I first heard this track by Peter and Kate Bush it was just spectacular for me. I love the sentiment. Don't ever give up. Beautiful. Peter Gabriel makes incredibly great-sounding records. |
2 | I have probably saved myself several million dollars in psychiatry bills because I talk to myself a lot. I think most songwriters do. |
