Caliendo was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 19, 1974. His parents are of Italian descent. He has two older sisters. Caliendo was raised in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he majored in communications.

Caliendo began his career as a stand-up comedian. He has appeared on several television shows, including MADtv, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Late Night with Conan O’Brien. He has also had roles in the films Elf and Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story.

Caliendo is a member of the “MADtv” cast. He joined the show in 2001 and became a regular in 2002. He has impersonated many celebrities on the show, including George W. Bush, John Madden, Robin Williams, and Al Pacino. He has also done impressions of celebrities on other shows, including Saturday Night Live and The Howard Stern Show.

Caliendo has been a member of the Fox NFL Sunday pre-game show since 2004. He impersonates various NFL personalities on the show, including John Madden, Terry Bradshaw, and Jimmy Johnson.
