Chuck Palumbo is an American professional wrestler, actor and television personality. He is best known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Palumbo was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on February 21, 1971. He was raised in a wrestling family; his father was a wrestler and promoter, and his uncle was also a wrestler. Palumbo was a standout athlete in high school, playing football and baseball. He began his wrestling career in 1992, after being trained by his father and uncle.
Palumbo made his professional wrestling debut in 1992, wrestling for his father’s promotion. He soon began wrestling for other promotions, including Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). In 2000, Palumbo signed with WWE, where he wrestled under the name “Chuck Palumbo”. He won the WWE Hardcore Championship and the WWE Tag Team Championship during his time with the company.
In 2006, Palumbo left WWE and returned to WCW, where he wrestled until the promotion was purchased by WWE in 2001. He then returned to WWE, where he competed until 2008. Palumbo left WWE again in 2009 and began wrestling on the independent circuit.
Palumbo has also appeared in several films and television shows, including the reality television series The Surreal Life. He has also appeared in the films The Scorpion King and The Marine.
Palumbo is married to former professional wrestler Michelle McCool. The couple have two children together.
