Christy Scott Cashman is an American actress, writer, and producer. She is best known for her work on the television series The Young and the Restless, for which she has won two Daytime Emmy Awards.
Born in Los Angeles, California, Christy Scott Cashman is the daughter of actress Linda Gray and producer Jerry Cashman. She has two sisters, Ashley and Lauren. Christy Scott Cashman was educated at the prestigious Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles.
Christy Scott Cashman began her acting career in the early 1990s with guest appearances on such television shows as Roseanne and Picket Fences. She landed her first major role in 1995 on the soap opera The Young and the Restless, playing the character of Abby Newman. She has appeared on the show regularly since then and has won two Daytime Emmy Awards for her work on the show.
In addition to her work on television, Christy Scott Cashman has also appeared in a number of films. Her film credits include The Brady Bunch Movie, A Walk to Remember, and The Notebook.
Christy Scott Cashman is married to actor Michael Nouri. The couple has two children together.
