Anthony Muñoz is a former American football offensive tackle who played 13 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the Cincinnati Bengals. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1998 and is considered one of the greatest offensive linemen of all time.

Born in Ontario, California, Muñoz was raised in a Mexican-American family. His father was a migrant worker and his mother was a homemaker. Muñoz began playing football in high school and was recruited by the University of Southern California (USC). He played college football for the USC Trojans from 1976 to 1979 and was a two-time All-American.

The Cincinnati Bengals selected Muñoz with the third overall pick in the 1980 NFL Draft. He played for the Bengals his entire NFL career, from 1980 to 1992. Muñoz was selected to 11 Pro Bowls and was named First-team All-Pro nine times. He helped the Bengals win Super Bowl XVI in 1982.

After retiring from football, Muñoz became involved in various business ventures. He also worked as a television analyst for NFL games. Muñoz was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1998. He was also named to the NFL 100th Anniversary All-Time Team and the NFL 75th Anniversary All-Time Team.

Muñoz is married to DeDe Muñoz and they have three children together. His son, Eric Muñoz, played football for the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft. His daughter, Michelle Muñoz, is a former Miss USA.
