Vasco Nunes is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a midfielder for FC Porto.
Born in Porto, Nunes began his career with local club FC Porto, making his professional debut in 2012. He has since made over 100 appearances for the club, winning the Primeira Liga title in 2013–14 and the UEFA Champions League in 2020–21.
Nunes has also represented Portugal at youth level, winning the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2012.
A versatile midfielder, Nunes is capable of playing both as a central midfielder and as a winger. He is known for his work rate, energy and tenacity on the pitch.
Born in Porto, Portugal, on 5 March 1994, Nunes began his career with local club FC Porto. He made his professional debut for the club in 2012, coming on as a late substitute in a league match against Gil Vicente.
Since then, Nunes has gone on to make over 100 appearances for FC Porto, winning the Primeira Liga title in 2013–14 and the UEFA Champions League in 2020–21.
At international level, Nunes has represented Portugal at youth level. He was part of the Portuguese team that won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2012.
Nunes is married to Inês Nunes. The couple have two children together: a son named Vasco and a daughter named Inês.
