Tyler Mane is a Canadian actor and former professional wrestler. He is best known for his roles as Sabretooth in the X-Men films and Michael Myers in the Halloween reboot.

Mane was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, on December 5, 1966. He was the middle child of three boys. His father was a high school teacher and his mother was a homemaker. Mane’s interest in wrestling began when he was a child, watching it on television with his father. He began competing in amateur wrestling tournaments when he was 11 years old.
Mane began his professional wrestling career in 1985, working for various independent promotions in Canada and the United States. In 1988, he signed with World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He wrestled under the name “Big Sky” and was part of the tag team “The Skyscrapers” with Dan Spivey. The team won the WCW World Tag Team Championship in 1989.
Mane left WCW in 1990 and began working for New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). He wrestled under the name “Great Muta” and won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in 1991. He returned to WCW in 1992 and won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in 1993.
Mane left WCW again in 1994 and began working for Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). He won the ECW World Heavyweight Championship in 1995. He returned to WCW in 1996 and won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship for a second time.
Mane left WCW for the final time in 1999 and began working for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He wrestled under the name “Mane” and won the WWE Hardcore Championship in 2000. He left WWE in 2003 and began working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). He won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in 2007.
Mane retired from professional wrestling in 2010 and began focusing on his acting career. He made his film debut in the 2002 film X-Men, playing the role of Sabretooth. He reprised the role in the 2003 sequel X2: X-Men United. He also appeared in the 2006 film See No Evil, playing the role of Michael Myers.
Mane has been married twice. His first marriage was to actress Renae Geerlings from 1992 to 1999. They have two sons together. His second marriage is to actress Alana Kari from 2009 to present. They have one daughter together.
Mane currently resides in Los Angeles, California with his family.
