Tony Gardner is an English actor, comedian, and screenwriter. He is best known for his roles in the films Shaun of the Dead (2004), Hot Fuzz (2007), and The World’s End (2013), as well as his role as Andy in the television series The Office (2001–2003).
Gardner was born in London, England, on 20 October 1966. His parents were both actors, and he has two older sisters. He was educated at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Gardner’s first film role was in the comedy Shaun of the Dead (2004), in which he played the role of Andy. He also appeared in the films Hot Fuzz (2007) and The World’s End (2013). He has also had roles in the television series The Office (2001–2003), Extras (2005–2007), and Life’s Too Short (2011–2013).
Gardner has been married to actress Sarah Jane Potts since 2004, and they have two sons.
