Tom Shillue is an American comedian, radio host, and author. He is known for his work on The Daily Show, The Tonight Show, and Red Eye w/ Tom Shillue.
Shillue was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, on December 11, 1961. His parents were both teachers. He has two older sisters. Shillue was educated at Worcester Academy and then at Boston College, from which he graduated in 1984.
Shillue began his career as a stand-up comedian, performing in clubs in New York City. He soon began appearing on television, including The Daily Show and The Tonight Show. In 2006, he became the host of Red Eye w/ Tom Shillue, a late-night talk show on the Fox News Channel.
Shillue is the author of three books: Funny in Farsi (2003), I’m Sorry I’ll Read That Again (2004), and Tales from the Bar (2006).
Shillue has been married twice. His first marriage, to Suzanne Morrison, ended in divorce. He has three children from his second marriage, to Karyn Shillue.
