Tess Daly is a British television presenter, best known for co-hosting Strictly Come Dancing. She was born on the 27th April 1971 in Stockport, Greater Manchester, to parents Vivian E. Daly, a bank manager, and Sylvia P. Daly, a nurse. She has two older sisters, Karen and Tracy. Daly attended Hazel Grove High School before studying dance at the Royal Academy of Dancing.

After graduation, she worked as a model and dancer in London. In 1996, she began her television career as a presenter on the children’s show SMTV Live. She went on to host a number of other shows, including The Clothes Show, This Morning and The X Factor. In 2004, she began co-hosting Strictly Come Dancing with Bruce Forsyth. The show has been a huge success, and Daly has won two BAFTAs for her work on it.

She has also presented a number of other shows, including Children in Need and Comic Relief. Daly is married to the actor Vernon Kay, with whom she has two daughters. She has an estimated net worth of £4 million.
