Stacey Nelkin is an American actress, writer, and producer. She was born in New York City on October 30, 1962, to parents Jerry and Barbara Nelkin. She has one sister, Wendy. Nelkin was educated at the High School of Performing Arts and the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.

Nelkin’s acting career began in the early 1980s with roles in the films Halloween II (1981), Space Raiders (1983), and The Wild Life (1984). She has also appeared in television series such as The Equalizer (1985), Miami Vice (1986), and L.A. Law (1987). In recent years, Nelkin has appeared in the films The Girl Next Door (2004), The Devil Wears Prada (2006), and 27 Dresses (2008).

Nelkin has been married twice. Her first husband was actor Michael Ontkean, with whom she has one daughter, Zoe. Her second husband is producer Mitchell Rubenstein. Nelkin currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
