Shannon Lee was born on April 19, 1969, in Los Angeles, California. Her father, Bruce Lee, was a Chinese-American actor, martial artist, and philosopher, while her mother, Linda Lee Cadwell, is of Swedish and German descent. Shannon Lee has two siblings: a brother, Brandon Lee, who died in 1993; and a sister, Shannon Lee. Shannon Lee was raised in Hong Kong and California.
She attended high school in California and graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in broadcast journalism. Shannon Lee began her acting career in 1992 with a role in the television series Kung Fu: The Legend Continues. She has since appeared in a number of films and television shows, including The Crow (1994), Nash Bridges (1996), and CSI: Miami (2002). Shannon Lee is also a producer and has worked on the films The Crow (1994) and Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993). In addition to her acting and producing work, Shannon Lee is also a martial artist.
She holds a black belt in Jeet Kune Do, which was created by her father. Shannon Lee is married to actor Richard Norton. They have two children together.
