Rachel Skarsten is a Canadian actress, known for her roles in Lost Girl, The L Word, and Birds of Prey.

Skarsten was born in Toronto, Ontario, the daughter of Mary-Ellen (née Reid) and Dr. Stan Skarsten. She has two sisters, Katie and Ashley. Skarsten attended Vaughan Road Academy in Toronto before going on to study at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.

Skarsten’s acting career began when she was cast as a regular on the Canadian television series Instant Star. She has also had guest roles on the television series Smallville and CSI: Miami. In 2009, she was cast as Dinah Lance/Black Canary on the CW series Birds of Prey.

In 2010, Skarsten was cast as Tamsin on the Showcase television series Lost Girl. She has also had roles in the films Fifty Shades of Grey (2015) and The Vow (2012).

Skarsten’s net worth is estimated to be $2 million. She has been in a relationship with actor Luke Macfarlane since 2008.
