Leonard Roberts is an American actor. He is best known for his roles in the television series Heroes and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Roberts was born on November 17, 1971 in St. Louis, Missouri. His parents are both African American. He has two sisters. Roberts was educated at the St. Louis Public Schools. He attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he studied theatre arts.
Roberts’ acting career began in the early 1990s. He had guest roles on television shows such as The Cosby Show, A Different World, and Law & Order. In 1995, he made his film debut in the film Dead Presidents.
In 2000, Roberts was cast as Forrest Gates in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He appeared in 22 episodes of the show. In 2006, Roberts was cast as D.L. Hawkins in the television series Heroes. He appeared in 29 episodes of the show.
Roberts has also appeared in the films Drumline (2002), A Perfect Getaway (2009), and G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013).
