John Laws is an Australian radio broadcaster. He is currently the host of The John Laws Morning Show on Radio 2UE. He has previously worked on other radio stations, including 2GB, 2UE and 2Day FM.

Laws was born in Sydney, Australia, on 21 July 1935. His parents were John and Mabel Laws. He has two brothers, Robert and Ronald. He was educated at Fort Street High School and the University of Sydney.

Laws began his career in radio in 1957, working for various radio stations in Australia. He joined 2UE in Sydney in 1976. He became well-known for his “shock jock” style of broadcasting, which often courted controversy. In 1993, he was suspended from 2UE for two weeks after making racist comments on air.

Laws has been married three times. His first marriage was to Anne-Maree Kelly in 1960. They had three children together before divorcing in 1974. His second marriage was to Caroline Jones in 1977. They had two children together before divorcing in 1992. His third marriage was to Catherine McGregor in 1995. They have no children together.
