Jay R. Ferguson is an American actor. He is known for his role as Stan Rizzo on the AMC drama Mad Men and as Taylor Kitsch’s character’s older brother, Robbie Wheirdicht, on the HBO miniseries Big Little Lies.

Ferguson was born in Dallas, Texas, on July 25, 1974, the son of James and Donna Ferguson. He has two sisters, Kelly and Kristin. Ferguson was raised in a Catholic household and attended St. Mark’s School of Texas, a private preparatory school in Dallas. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1997.

Ferguson’s first acting role was in the 1999 film Office Space as a temp worker who is fired from his job. He has also appeared in films such as The Alamo (2004), Thank You for Smoking (2005), and Evan Almighty (2007).
