Dusty Drake (born November 15, 1979) is an American country music singer. He has released four studio albums and has charted eight singles on the Billboard country charts.
Drake was born in Lexington, Kentucky, and raised in Nicholasville, Kentucky. His father was a country music singer, and Drake began performing with him at a young age. He attended Jessamine County High School. After graduation, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a career in country music.
Drake’s self-titled debut album was released in 2002 on the independent label DreamWorks Records. The album’s lead single, “I Wanna Be a Cowboy,” peaked at No. 60 on the Billboard country charts. His second album, It’s About Time, was released in 2004 on the independent label Valory Music Co. The album’s lead single, “She’s My Kind of Crazy,” peaked at No. 53 on the Billboard country charts.
In 2006, Drake signed with the major label RCA Records Nashville. His third album, Startin’ Fires, was released in 2008. The album’s lead single, “I Can’t Wait,” peaked at No. 43 on the Billboard country charts. His fourth album, Thank You for Letting Me Be Myself, was released in 2010. The album’s lead single, “That’s What I Love About You,” peaked at No. 41 on the Billboard country charts.
