Stirling Moss is a retired British Formula One racing driver. He was born on the 17th of September, 1929, in London, England. His parents were Ailsa and Alfred Moss. He has two siblings, Pat Moss and Susan Moss. He was educated at several schools, including Stowe School, before going on to study at the University of Oxford.
Moss began his racing career in 1948, when he competed in the British Grand Prix. He went on to win the race, making him the first British driver to do so. He also won the Monaco Grand Prix and the Italian Grand Prix that same year. In all, he won 16 Grands Prix during his career. He retired from racing in 1962, after a crash at the Goodwood Circuit.
Moss has been married three times. His first wife was Susie Moss, with whom he had two children. His second wife was Katie Lee-O’Reilly, with whom he had one child. His third and current wife is Lady Moss, with whom he has no children.
