Patrick Lee is an American actor, producer, and director. He is best known for his role as Dr. Daniel Pierce in the TNT crime drama series Perception (2012–2015).

Lee was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on September 14, 1971, the son of a Chinese father and an Irish mother. He has two older sisters. His father died when he was four years old, and his mother later remarried.

Lee was educated at St. Louis Country Day School and the University of Chicago, from which he graduated with a degree in English in 1994. He then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.

Lee’s first film role was in the independent film The Big Empty (1995). He has since appeared in a number of films, including The Ring Two (2005), The Revenant (2015), and The Purge: Election Year (2016).

On television, Lee has had recurring roles on the ABC drama series Boston Legal (2004–2005) and the CBS drama series CSI: Miami (2006–2007). He has also guest-starred on such shows as ER (1998), The X-Files (1998), and Without a Trace (2003).

In 2012, Lee was cast as the lead in the TNT crime drama series Perception. The show ran for three seasons, ending in 2015.

Lee is married to actress Shannon Lee. They have two children together.
