Maxine is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born in Toronto, Ontario, on October 29, 1961. Her parents are Mary and John Waters. She has two sisters, Linda and Karen. Maxine began her career as a child actress, appearing in television commercials and movies. She made her acting debut in the film “The Edison Twins” (1982).
She has also appeared in the films “A Christmas Story” (1983), “It Takes Two” (1988), and “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” (1992). Maxine’s music career began in the early 1990s. She has released four studio albums: “Maxine” (1992), “In My Dreams” (1995), “Lullaby” (1998), and “The Best of Maxine” (2001). Maxine has also appeared on the television series “7th Heaven” (1996-2007) and “CSI: Miami” (2002-2012). She has been married to actor Michael J.
Fox since 1988. They have four children: Sam, twins Aquinnah and Schuyler, and Esmé.

I thought if I dressed like the guys I fancied they'd like me more, so I went to the hairdresser and said: "I'd like my hair cut like Paul Young." It was a strange spiky number with a bit of a mullet. It took me years to realise that didn't work.
