Matt Clark is an American professional baseball player. He plays first base and is a left-handed batter. He was born on September 10, 1987, in Las Vegas, Nevada. His parents are Mike and Shelley Clark. He has two brothers, Michael and Mitchell. He attended Desert Oasis High School. He played college baseball at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the second round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft.
He made his Major League debut on September 1, 2012. He was traded to the Houston Astros on July 29, 2013. He was traded to the Chicago Cubs on July 5, 2014. He was claimed off waivers by the Milwaukee Brewers on November 20, 2014. He was traded to the Atlanta Braves on July 31, 2015. He was claimed off waivers by the Oakland Athletics on August 12, 2015.
