Drake Jensen is a Canadian country music singer and songwriter. He has released four studio albums and one EP. His self-titled debut album was released in 2010 and included the singles “I’m No Good at Goodbyes” and “She’s My Kind of Crazy”. His second album, 2013’s Startin’ with Me, included the singles “Kiss You Tonight” and “Somebody’s Gonna Love You”.

Jensen was born in Calgary, Alberta, on October 24, 1980. He was raised on a ranch in the small town of Carseland, just outside of Calgary. His parents were both country music fans, and his father was a singer in a local country band. Jensen began playing guitar at the age of 12 and wrote his first song at the age of 14. He was a talented athlete, and played both hockey and baseball growing up. After high school, he attended the University of Calgary, where he studied business.

Jensen’s music career began in earnest in 2006, when he independently released his first EP, Small Town Dreams. The EP caught the attention of several music industry executives, and Jensen was soon signed to a record deal with Universal Music Canada. His self-titled debut album was released in 2010 and included the singles “I’m No Good at Goodbyes” and “She’s My Kind of Crazy”. His second album, 2013’s Startin’ with Me, included the singles “Kiss You Tonight” and “Somebody’s Gonna Love You”.

Jensen has been nominated for several Canadian Country Music Association Awards, winning the Rising Star Award in 2011. He has also been nominated for two Juno Awards.

Jensen has been in a relationship with Canadian country music singer Jessica Mitchell since 2016. The couple have one daughter together, born in 2018.
