Donnie Klang is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known for his work as a member of the boy band Making the Band and for his solo career.

Klang was born in Rochester, Minnesota, on August 3, 1983, to parents of German and Norwegian descent. He has two older sisters. Klang’s interest in music began at a young age; he started playing the piano when he was five years old and began singing in his church choir when he was eight. He attended Mayo High School, where he was a member of the school’s jazz and show choirs.

After graduating from high school, Klang attended the University of Minnesota on a full scholarship. He was a member of the school’s a cappella group, the Minnesota Glee Club. In 2002, Klang auditioned for the reality television series Making the Band 2. He was selected as one of the five members of the boy band O-Town. The group achieved success with their debut album, O-Town (2000), which was certified platinum in the United States.

O-Town disbanded in 2003, and Klang began working on his solo career. He released his debut album, Just a Rolling Stone, in 2007. The album peaked at number 54 on the Billboard 200 chart. Klang has also appeared on television shows such as The Celebrity Apprentice and American Idol.
