Craig Olejnik is a Canadian actor best known for his leading role in the supernatural drama series The Listener.
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on August 26, 1979, Craig Olejnik is the son of a librarian and a high school teacher. He has two older sisters. Craig Olejnik was a talented athlete in his youth, playing both hockey and soccer. He also developed a love for acting, appearing in school plays.
After graduating from high school, Craig Olejnik attended the prestigious National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal. Upon graduating, he worked steadily in Canadian television and film, appearing in such series as Relic Hunter, Just Cause, and Smallville.
In 2009, Craig Olejnik landed his breakout role in The Listener. The series ran for five seasons and made him a household name in Canada. Following the show’s cancellation, Craig Olejnik starred in the short-lived series Motive and had a recurring role on The Strain.
Craig Olejnik has been nominated for several awards over the course of his career, including a Gemini Award and a Canadian Screen Award. He has won two Leo Awards.
