Brad Sherwood is an American actor, comedian, and game show host. He is best known for his work on the improvisational comedy television series Whose Line Is It Anyway?.

Sherwood was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 24, 1964. He is the son of Barbara (née Hirsch) and Robert Sherwood. His parents divorced when he was four years old and he was raised by his mother. He has two older sisters, Wendy and Lisa.
Sherwood attended Highland Park High School in Highland Park, Illinois. He then studied theatre at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Sherwood’s first professional acting job was in a Chicago production of the musical Grease. He then moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
Sherwood has appeared in a number of television shows and films. He had a recurring role on the sitcom Roseanne and has also appeared on Seinfeld, Friends, The Drew Carey Show, and Ellen.

In 1988, Sherwood began working on the British improvisational comedy series Whose Line Is It Anyway?. He became a regular cast member on the American version of the show when it debuted in 1998.
Sherwood has also hosted several game shows, including The Newlywed Game, The Dating Game, and Let’s Make a Deal.
Sherwood has been married twice. His first marriage was to Michele Coppola from 1988 to 1992. His second marriage is to Carrie Schenken from 2001 to present. He has two daughters from his first marriage, Chloe and Sophie.
