Asher Keddie is an Australian actress. She is known for her roles in the television series Offspring, The Slap and Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo.
Keddie was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on July 14, 1974. Her parents are Michael and Hilary Keddie. She has two brothers, Joshua and Benjamin. Keddie was educated at Star of the Sea College, a Catholic girls’ school in Gardenvale, Victoria. She later studied drama at the Victorian College of the Arts.
Keddie’s first major role was in the television series Good Guys, Bad Guys (1997-1998). She has also appeared in the series Love My Way (2004-2007), Rush (2008-2011) and Offspring (2010-2017). Keddie won the AACTA Award for Best Lead Actress in a Television Drama for her role in Offspring in 2012.
Keddie has also appeared in the films The Black Balloon (2008), Animal Kingdom (2010) and Holding the Man (2015).
Keddie is married to actor Vincent Fantauzzo. They have two sons, Valentino and Luca.
