Alisan Porter is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She first gained recognition as a child actress, starring in the 1984 film “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure” and the 1988 film “The Little Rascals”. She later rose to prominence as a recording artist, releasing her debut album “Alisan Porter” in 1991. She has since released three additional albums and has appeared on numerous television shows and films.

Porter was born in Worcester, Massachusetts on June 20, 1981. She is the youngest of three children. Her mother, Nancy (née Dolan), is a retired nurse, and her father, Richard Porter, is a retired police officer. Porter began acting at a young age, appearing in local theater productions. She made her film debut in “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure” at the age of nine. She subsequently appeared in the films “The Little Rascals” and “Lassie”.

Porter’s music career began in earnest when she was signed by A&M Records in 1990. Her debut album, “Alisan Porter”, was released the following year and spawned the hit single “Baby I’m Yours”. The album was a commercial success, reaching platinum status in the United States. Porter followed up her debut with the album “Willow” in 1993. The album’s lead single, “You Should Know by Now”, was a top 40 hit in the United States.

Porter has appeared on numerous television shows and films throughout her career. She had a recurring role on the television series “Crossing Jordan” from 2001 to 2004. In 2009, she appeared on the reality television show “Celebrity Wife Swap”. In 2016, she competed on the tenth season of “The Voice”, ultimately finishing in second place.

Porter has been married twice. Her first marriage was to Brian Autenrieth from 2002 to 2007. The couple have two children together. Porter married actor Justin Elvin in 2012. The couple have one child together.

Porter has a net worth of $5 million. She has earned her wealth through her successful career as a singer, songwriter and actress.
