Chiquinquirá Delgado is a Venezuelan television host, actress, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Venezuela 2011. She represented Venezuela in the Miss Universe 2012 pageant, where she placed as the second runner-up.

Early Life

Delgado was born on July 28, 1987, in the city of Maracaibo, Venezuela. She is the youngest of three children born to parents Chiqui and Quique Delgado. Her father is a businessman and her mother is a homemaker.

Delgado began her modeling career at the age of 15. She has appeared in various advertising campaigns and has also done some runway work. In 2011, she competed in the Miss Venezuela pageant and was crowned the winner.

As Miss Venezuela, Delgado represented her country at the Miss Universe 2012 pageant, where she placed as the second runner-up.

Career

Delgado has worked as a television host and actress. She has hosted various shows on Venezuelan television, including the morning show “Despierta America” and the entertainment news show “El Gordo y La Flaca”.

She has also appeared in a number of Venezuelan telenovelas, including “Mi ex me tiene ganas”, “Amor Sincero” and “La Viuda Joven”.

In 2015, Delgado made her Hollywood debut in the film “The 33”, which is based on the true story of the 2010 mining disaster in Chile.

Delgado has also appeared in the music video for the song “La Bicicleta” by Colombian singers Carlos Vives and Shakira.
