Anthony Russo is an American film and television director, best known for his work on the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. He and his brother, Joe Russo, have directed four films in the franchise, including two of the highest-grossing films of all time, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1970, Anthony Russo began his career directing episodes of the television series Arrested Development and Community. He made his feature film debut with the 2004 comedy Welcome to Collinwood. He and Joe Russo went on to co-direct the 2006 film You, Me and Dupree and the 2013 film Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
The Russos have been praised for their work on the Marvel films, which have grossed billions of dollars at the box office. In addition to directing, they also serve as executive producers on the television series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Anthony Russo is married to television producer Angela Russo-Otstot. They have two children together.
