Anna Mouglalis (born 9 April 1978) is a French actress. She is known for her roles in the films Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky (2009), Gainsbourg (Vie héroïque) (2010), and Non-Fiction (2018).
Early Life
Mouglalis was born in Nantes, France. Her father, Georges Mouglalis, is a Greek Cypriot who immigrated to France in the 1950s, while her mother is French. She has two sisters.
Mouglalis was educated at the Lycée Français de New York and the Lycée Claude Monet in Paris. She studied acting at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique.
Career
Mouglalis made her film debut in the 2001 film Les Âmes fortes, directed by Raúl Ruiz. She subsequently appeared in films such as Love Me If You Dare (2003), A Very Long Engagement (2004), and The Dancer Upstairs (2002).
In 2009, Mouglalis played Coco Chanel in the biopic Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky, directed by Jan Kounen. The following year, she played Brigitte Bardot in Gainsbourg (Vie héroïque), a biopic of French singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg.
Mouglalis has also appeared on television, including in the French series Les Bleus: premiers pas dans la police and Maison close. In 2018, she starred in the French series Non-Fiction, directed by Olivier Assayas.
