Peter Parros is an American actor, best known for his role as Dr. Ben Harris on the NBC daytime soap opera Another World.
Born in New York City, Parros is the son of African-American parents. He was raised in the Bronx and attended the High School of Performing Arts. After graduation, he studied acting at the Stella Adler Conservatory and the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.
Parros made his television debut in 1981 on the NBC soap opera Another World, where he played the role of Dr. Ben Harris. He remained with the show until 1999. He also appeared on the CBS daytime soap opera As the World Turns and the ABC daytime soap opera One Life to Live.
In addition to his work on daytime television, Parros has appeared in a number of primetime television shows, including Miami Vice, The Cosby Show, Law & Order, and New York Undercover. He has also appeared in films such as Lean on Me (1989), Jungle Fever (1991), and Clockers (1995).
Parros is married to actress Lisa Vidal. The couple has three children together.
