Peter Griffith is an American actor. He was born on October 30, 1953, in New York City, New York, USA. His parents are Dina Merrill and Edward Griffith. He has two sisters, one older and one younger. He attended the Putney School in Vermont and graduated from there in 1971. He then went on to study acting at the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting in New York City. After graduating from there, he began his acting career.
He has appeared in many movies and television shows. Some of his most notable roles have been in the movies “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” (2013), “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” (2014) and “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” (2015). He has also appeared in the television shows “Law & Order” (1990), “NYPD Blue” (1993) and “The Good Wife” (2009).
He is married to actress Jill Clayburgh. They have two children together.
