Kristoff St. John (born July 15, 1966) is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Neil Winters on The Young and the Restless, a role he has played since 1991.
St. John was born in New York City, the son of African-American parents, Christopher St. John, an actor, and Marie St. John (née Price), a dancer. He has two sisters, Sonia and Nicole. St. John was educated at the High School of Performing Arts and the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.
St. John’s first acting role was in a 1974 episode of the CBS soap opera The Guiding Light. He went on to appear in episodes of the NBC soap operas Another World and Santa Barbara. In 1991, he began appearing as Neil Winters on The Young and the Restless, a role he has played ever since.
St. John has won nine Daytime Emmy Awards for his work on The Young and the Restless, including the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series award in 2008.
