Born in London, Honey G grew up in a musical family and was exposed to a variety of genres including hip hop, R&B, and grime. She began writing her own rap lyrics at the age of 14 and went on to study music production at university. After graduating, she worked as a music producer for a number of years before auditioning for The X Factor.
Despite initially being labelled a novelty act, Honey G proved to be a popular contestant and made it all the way to the final, eventually finishing in fifth place. Following her appearance on The X Factor, she signed a record deal with Simon Cowell’s label Syco Music and released her debut single, “The Honey G Show”.
Honey G has been praised for her unique rap style and for bringing something different to the music industry. She has been compared to other successful British rappers such as Dizzee Rascal and Tinie Tempah. Her debut single peaked at number 21 on the UK Singles Chart and she has since gone on to release two more singles, “Where Are You Now” and “Mafia”.
Honey G’s net worth is estimated to be around £1 million. She has earned most of her wealth from her music career, as well as from various endorsement deals and public appearances.
Honey G is single and has no children.
