Rupp began her career as a child actress, appearing in a number of commercials and television shows. She attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where she studied theater arts. After graduation, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting.

Rupp’s first major role was as the character Kitty Forman on the sitcom That ’70s Show. She appeared in all 200 episodes of the show, from 1998 to 2006. She has also had roles on the television shows Roseanne, Friends, Seinfeld, and The King of Queens. In addition to her work on television, Rupp has also appeared in a number of films, including The Brady Bunch Movie, A Very Brady Sequel, and For Your Consideration.

Rupp has been married twice. Her first husband was actor Richard Ruccolo, with whom she has a daughter. Her second husband is actor Kurtwood Smith, whom she married in 2008. Rupp has an estimated net worth of $8 million.
