Claire Rushbrook (born 21 March 1970) is an English actress. She is known for her roles in the films Secrets & Lies (1996), I.D. (1995), and Vera Drake (2004), and the television series Waking the Dead (2000–2002), Masterpiece Theatre (2004), and House of Cards (2013).

Rushbrook was born in London, the daughter of Pauline (née Norman), a teacher, and Michael Rushbrook, an engineer. She has two sisters, Kate and Nicola. She was educated at St Paul’s Girls’ School in Hammersmith, London, and then at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.

Rushbrook’s first film role was in Secrets & Lies (1996), for which she was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. She has since appeared in films such as I.D. (1995), Vera Drake (2004), and Pride & Prejudice (2005). On television, she played the lead role in the BBC series Waking the Dead (2000–2002), and has had recurring roles in Masterpiece Theatre (2004) and House of Cards (2013).

Rushbrook has been married to actor Neil Stuke since 2002. They have two children.
