Brad Kane is an American actor, singer and songwriter, best known for his work on stage and screen.

Born in New York City on September 26, 1965, Kane was raised in a Jewish household in the borough of Queens. His parents, Sheila and Jerry Kane, were both successful professionals; his father was an attorney and his mother was a schoolteacher. Kane has two older sisters, Mindy and Debbie.

Kane began his acting career at the age of eight, when he appeared in a local production of Oliver! He went on to study acting at the High School of Performing Arts and the Juilliard School, from which he graduated in 1987.

Kane’s first professional role was in the Broadway production of Grease, in which he played the lead role of Danny Zuko. He went on to star in a number of other Broadway shows, including The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables and Chicago.

In addition to his work on stage, Kane has also appeared in a number of films and television shows. His most notable film roles include parts in The First Wives Club (1996), A Walk on the Moon (1999) and The Insider (1999).

On television, Kane has had guest-starring roles on such shows as Law & Order, Spin City and Sex and the City. He has also appeared as a regular on the short-lived series Lipstick Jungle (2008-2009).

Kane has been married twice. His first marriage, to actress Nancy McKeon, ended in divorce after eight years. He is currently married to television producer Jill Blackstone; the couple has two children.

Kane’s net worth is estimated to be $5 million. His salary is not publicly available, but he is known to have earned significant sums from his work on Broadway and in film and television.
