Adam Rich is an American actor, best known for his role as Eight-year-old Nicholas Bradford in the television series Eight Is Enough.
Rich was born in New York City, the son of Barbara and Richard Rich. He has two older sisters, Amy and Elizabeth. His father was an advertising executive and his mother was a homemaker.
Rich began his acting career at the age of eight, when he was cast as Nicholas Bradford in the television series Eight Is Enough. He appeared in all 112 episodes of the series, which ran for five seasons from 1977 to 1981.
After Eight Is Enough ended, Rich appeared in a number of made-for-television movies and guest-starred on several television series, including Magnum, P.I., The Love Boat, and Fantasy Island.
In 1984, Rich starred in the short-lived sitcom Small Wonder as Jamie Lawson, the son of a robot.
In 1986, Rich appeared in the made-for-television movie The Thanksgiving Promise, which reunited him with his Eight Is Enough co-star Dick Van Patten.
Rich’s other television credits include guest-starring roles on Matlock, Diagnosis Murder, and 7th Heaven.
Rich has also appeared in the films The Blob (1988), Zapped! (1982), and It Takes Two (1988).
Rich married his wife, Karen, in 1988. The couple has two children: a son, Jake, and a daughter, Chloe.
Rich currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
