Yoshiki is a Japanese musician, songwriter and record producer. He is best known as the leader and co-founder of the heavy metal band X Japan, for which he is the drummer, pianist and main songwriter.

Yoshiki was born on November 20, 1965, in Tateyama, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. His father was a tap dancer and his mother was a singer. He has two older sisters. Yoshiki was exposed to music at a very young age. His father taught him how to play the drums when he was just four years old. He began playing the piano when he was six.

Yoshiki’s first band was called Dynamite. He formed the band with his childhood friend Toshi in 1982. The band changed its name to X Japan in 1986. The band achieved mainstream success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. They were one of the first Japanese bands to achieve international success.

Yoshiki has composed music for numerous films and television shows. He has also produced albums for other artists, including hide with Spread Beaver and Dir en grey.

Yoshiki has a net worth of $200 million. He is one of the richest musicians in Japan.

Yoshiki has been in a relationship with model and actress Ayumi Ito since 2002. The couple has one son together.
