Wendy Phillips is an American actress, best known for her role as Dr. Jill Brock on the NBC soap opera Santa Barbara.
Born in Los Angeles, California, Phillips was raised in a showbiz family. Her father, Jay Phillips, was a television producer, and her mother, Barbara, was an actress. Phillips has two older sisters, Tracy and Amy.
Phillips began her acting career in the early 1980s with guest appearances on such television shows as Magnum, P.I. and The Love Boat. In 1984, she landed the role of Dr. Jill Brock on Santa Barbara. She played the role for two years before leaving the show in 1986.
In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Phillips appeared in a number of made-for-TV movies and guest-starred on such television shows as L.A. Law, Cheers and Murphy Brown.
In 1995, Phillips starred in the short-lived CBS sitcom The Bonnie Hunt Show. The following year, she had a recurring role on the ABC sitcom Roseanne.
From 2000 to 2002, Phillips starred as Olivia Spencer on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns. She earned a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance in 2001.
In recent years, Phillips has guest-starred on such television shows as Desperate Housewives, Castle and NCIS: Los Angeles.
Phillips has been married three times. Her first husband was actor Jameson Parker, with whom she has two daughters, Molly and Lily. Her second husband was actor Gregory Harrison, with whom she has a son, Ford. Phillips is currently married to actor Rob Lowe. They have two sons, Matthew and John Owen.
